The Market Clonmellon

Featuring Tara Walker, who can be found regularly on Virgin Media One’s Ireland AM, where she has been cooking easy-to-follow everyday recipes and teaching the nation kitchen skills for over eight years. You might also hear her on the local radio station, LMFM. She presented very popular cookery demonstrations at The Market Clonmellon in 2023.
Having grown up surrounded by family in food businesses, Tara decided to hone her skills at Le Cordon Bleu, Paris.
Teaching and connecting over culinary expertise and experience led her to open the East Coast Cookery School in Termonfeckin, Co. Louth, where she spent 13 years sharing her love of authentic ingredients and teaching people to cook from scratch with the best seasonal ingredients.
Cooking fuss-free, good-for-you meals led her to write her first cookbook, “Good Food No Stress,” published by Mercier Press in March 2017.
She hosts regular online cook-along classes using the same care and attention.
